In 2001, Milagros Iglesias and Pascal Mendy take a flight from Germany to Gambia, carrying suitcases full of old glasses. Later, they found the organization RIGHT TO SEE.
Its aim: Fighting ametropia and eye diseases. Because these deseases aren’t always treated in Gambia. And if they are, the treatment is expensive.
With the aid of donated glasses and support from Germany RIGHT TO SEE wants to offer optical care even to the poor.
